AMD published its third-quarter 2026 results on November 3, 2026, the same afternoon as the US midterm elections. Revenue reached $13.38 billion, up 45% from $9.25 billion a year earlier and up 16% from the second quarter. AMD called it a record quarter.
| Measure | Q3 2026 | Q3 2025 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | $13.38B | $9.25B | Up 45% |
| GAAP gross margin | 54% | 52% | Up 2 pts |
| GAAP operating income | $2.83B | $1.27B | Up 123% |
| GAAP net income | $2.43B | $1.24B | Up 95% |
| GAAP diluted EPS | $1.46 | $0.75 | Up 95% |
| Non-GAAP diluted EPS | $2.09 | $1.20 | Up 74% |
| Non-GAAP gross margin | 56% | 54% | Up 2 pts |
The quality of the beat mattered as much as its size. Operating margin widened to 21% on a GAAP basis (29% non-GAAP), so most of the extra revenue reached the bottom line. CFO Jean Hu said the fourth-quarter outlook reflects “accelerating revenue and earnings growth, driven by strong demand across our Data Center portfolio.”
