Earnie Moore and Ted Salazar, the cartoon mascots of Strategic Crypto Reserve

Earnie Moore

Mascot · Finance & Public Relations

SCR mascotFinancePublic relationsCommunity

In the SCR story, Earnie Moore spent two decades in corporate communications and investor relations before the 2017 crypto cycle drew him into Web3. There he made his name doing one thing well: explaining block rewards, token unlocks, hosting contracts and power purchase agreements in language a board, a journalist or a first-time buyer can act on.

He has seen three market cycles from the community side, and his rule has stayed the same in each: publish the numbers, show the method, and answer the question that was actually asked. That is the standard he represents for Strategic Crypto Reserve's announcements, research and pricing.

Ted Salazar, SCR mascot and programming team lead

Mascot · Programming Team Lead

SCR mascotSoftware engineeringData modelling

In the SCR story, Ted Salazar wrote his first program in BASIC on a family computer in Brazil and followed the web as it grew up: PHP and MySQL sites in the early hosting years, JavaScript applications as browsers became platforms, and finally energy and infrastructure modelling, where a wrong assumption costs real money.

That last step is the work he represents at SCR. The engineering team turns utility tariffs, grid queues, tax rules and construction factors into a model that answers one question quickly and honestly: what would this data centre cost to build and run, here?

Who Really Builds SCR

Behind the mascots, Strategic Crypto Reserve is a small, independent team. Three functions do the real work:

Infrastructure & research
Power, grid and tariff research for the crypto and AI data center infrastructure guides and the 50 state tariff pages
Software engineering
The AI Build Configurator and its licensing system
Client support & licensing
Site screening and licence onboarding, invoices and affiliate payouts
